How do I use it?
For maximum protection, apply to underarms before going to bed.
While resting, the TRIsolid formula acclimates to the body,
forming a deep level of protection. This protection lasts
throughout the following day, even after a shower. Degree
Clinical Protection can also be applied in the morning. The
recommended dose for each underarm is 2 clicks.
Why apply Degree Clinical Protection at night?
Research shows that body temperature is not constant throughout
the day and oscillates in a cycle known as the Circadian Rhythm.
Under natural conditions, body temperature oscillates from a
nighttime low of 97.7°F to a midday high of 98.9°F. Due to this
cycle, skin is more receptive to Degree Clinical Protection while
sleeping. This gives the formula time to work and build a strong
level of protection for the day ahead.
How is the Degree TRIsolid formulation less irritating on skin
than a prescription product?
The Degree TRIsolid formulation provides clinical wetness
protection without the irritation and discomfort often caused by
prescription anti-perspirants. Aluminum Chloride, an acidic
ingredient, and alcohols, such as ethanol, are irritating
components often found in prescription anti-perspirants. Degree
Clinical Protection does not contain any of these ingredients. In
fact, the TRIsolid formula contains dimethicone, an advanced
skincare ingredient, which is commonly found in baby care
products and skin lotions.
What do I do about excess sweating?
Past puberty, axillary (underarm) sweat and odor are normal body
functions. Regular anti-perspirants can be effective in reducing
normal levels of underarm sweating. However, some people may
experience hyperhidrosis, a medical condition otherwise known as
excessive sweating. Axillary hyperhidrosis can be a distressing
problem and typically requires a stronger form of protection. To
learn more about excessive sweating, go to

physician.
What is the difference between Deodorants and
Anti-perspirants?
Normally, body temperature is in balance i.e. the heat generated
by the body is the same as the heat leaving the body. However,
when more heat is generated this balance shifts and the body
becomes too hot. To re-establish the heat equilibrium, the body
needs to increase heat output and this is achieved by sweating.
Sweating can also occur in emotional situations when a person
becomes nervous or embarrassed. Anti-perspirants reduce sweat by
controlling the flow of underarm perspiration and masking body
odor. Deodorants, on the other hand, prevent odor by using
fragrance and by reducing the levels of underarm bacteria.
However, deodorants alone do not stop sweating.
Are anti-perspirants safe?
Anti-perspirants have been used for more than sixty years and the
overwhelming weight of evidence indicates that they are safe and
effective. Unilever works with leading academic institutions
around the world to advance its understanding of sweating and
underarm protection to create highly effective and well tested
formulations like Degree Clinical Protection. Visit

It does not workReviewed by Imdaman, 2009-01-13
Don't waste your money, these clinical strength products DO NOT WORK. I'm a heavy sweater and have been wearing concealing clothes forever. I've tried everything from mail order stuff to athetic clothing to dress shields, but nothing worked. I actually was looking into Botox to suppress the sweating when I saw an ad for CERTAIN DRY. I don't work for the company so I've nothting to gain, and I thought I'd share some insight with you. It says use 1x every 3 days, but for me, I only have to use it 1x every 2 weeks or so. I just put it on when I want and it works GREAT - NO SWEATING AT ALL. I do have a review on CERTAIN DRY already, I encourage you to buy this product, you won't be dissapointed. I'd also like to know how it worked for you. Let me know. Thanks.
Better than average protectionReviewed by Roger N. Overton, 2008-10-22
Simply put, this deodorant does it's job. It has a pleasant smell
and it drastically reduces perspiration. For that reason, I use it
whenever I know I'm doing something active during the day- such as
hiking or helping someone move.
The downside is the feel of it. Instead of feeling perspiration, I
feel some awkward gunk under my arms. It also does not wash away
easily. It usually takes 2-3 days of regular showering before I no
longer feel its presence. This really annoys me, and I almost gave
it three stars for it.
Kinda sorta worksReviewed by Scott Bresinger, 2008-09-18
Tried wearing it a number of ways to test its effectiveness--under
one arm while using my usual deodorant with the other, then
switching the next day; under one arm while leaving the other
without anything; etc. The results were noticeable but not
overwhelming. I was drier with the Degree than without, but not
completely. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to be completely dry
anyway, but I'm on the fence as to whether it's worth the extra
coin. If your wallet is too heavy, than definitely go for it.
One major plus: the scent is actually subtle for this kind of
product. At least no one will say you smell funny...
This stuff worksReviewed by Robert Gamble, 2008-07-14
Simply put, this product works. I sweat more than average, often times just from walking in 70-75 degree weather. Normal antiperspirants help, but don't do enough for me. With this, I put it on before I go to sleep, and while I still sweat if I exert myself, I stay dry when I do my normal activities.
Seemed like a good idea...Reviewed by C. Clark, 2008-07-06
Deodorant towels seemed like something my son might like. He's always using those face cleanser towels and deodorant sprays that seem so popular with the adolescent age group. He gave this a try figuring he could use it at the gym or as a "touch-up" during the day. But he didn't like them at all. Besides saying that they didn't work, the towels, while convenient for applying, left his hands all sticky.
